Cyclists Cafes

The Cafeteria, Charnock Garden Centre (under new managment)on the A49 Leyland, north of Pack Saddle Bridge. Warm and inviting with high quality home cooking. Open Monday-Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-3.30. Cyclists very welcome probably because we drink loads of tea!


Twin Lakes fishery just outside Croston on the Bretherton road (B5247)is a hidden gem! Fabulous all day breakfast for £3.50. Open 7 days from 9am till 2.30pm as well. We knew it was good as we pulled up....How? All the cycles of course!

Tockholes visitor center just before the village when approaching from Belmont. good place to start and finish a ride. Toasted teacakes 50p....need I say more!

The Riverbank Tearooms in Slaidburn near Clitheroe does an excellent egg & bacon buttie. It has a good selection of cakes and sandwiches and still sells proper tea in mugs! If you fancy some off roading in Gisburn Forest its your nearest option

Marmalade Cafe in Whalley near Clitheroe do great snacks or full lunches and welcome cyclists, wet or dry. It is licensed should you fancy a light snifter. Across the way is Whalley Warm and dry outdoor retailers if an after lunch browse takes your fancy.
